Position: Aircraft PilotType: ContractCompensation: $30 - $50/hourLocation: RemoteCommitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role ResponsibilitiesListen to authentic air traffic control (ATC) radio transmissions and accurately transcribe audio following detailed project guidelines.Extract and document key flight instructions, including headings, altitudes, and radio frequencies.Reference supporting materials such as airport diagrams, navigational charts, and aircraft positioning data to ensure precise transcription and annotation.Apply aviation experience to interpret diverse communication styles, accents, and operational contexts commonly encountered in real-world ATC.Contribute feedback for ongoing improvements to guidelines, processes, and AI understanding of ATC communications. RequirementsActive or former professional pilot with substantial experience in real-world flight operations.Fluency in English, with proven ability to interpret and communicate complex ATC instructions.Experience operating internationally and understanding a variety of regional and non-native English accents.Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to follow structured annotation and transcription protocols.Comfort using digital tools, reference materials, and high-quality audio equipment in a remote setting.
